About Me

Kitty is a Licensed Professional Counselor that maintains a private practice in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is also a Motivational Speaker that is passionate about helping victims of domestic violence overcome their trauma and abuse issues. Kitty's goal is to help women build their self-esteem, confidence, and learn to love themselves through reflective soul work and other techniques so they can live a happy healthier life. Kitty has been in the mental health field for over ten years and practicing therapy for six years. She has worked in school settings, day treatment programs, and as an outpatient clinical therapist. She has experience working with children, adults, couples and families.

Kitty graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Counseling from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is Licensed to practice therapy in the State of Arkansas.

Kitty's theoretical approach comes from a Holistic approach with interest in engaging and developing the whole person. Her focus is on healing the person emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Reality Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Kitty is also trained in EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR is a form of psychotherapy designed to diminish negative feelings associated with memories of traumatic events. EMDR was developed to treat the symptoms of PTSD, Anxiety and Phobias.
